Media Influence on Society - Part 3

DOES THIS LOOK FAMILIAR!?I see a picture similiar to this almost everyday. When my younger brother comes home, most days, he does his homework and then either watches t.v. or goes directly to the neighbors house to play video games. He'll probably grow out of this habit but I DEFINITELY know that there are better, more healthier things to to do than sitting in front of the t.v. and playing video games all of the time Not to the to say that video games are bad, but too much of them probably isn't good either. Studies show a strong link between childhood obesity and video games. Media also has an influence on other types of bad and/or risky health behaviors like underage smoking, underage drinking, eating disorders, suicide, sexual intercourse, and weapon use. Not all people are this deeply influenced by media though.
